A friend and I are staying in Tokyo for 2 weeks to just background some culture and we also like Japanese stuff. We come from a very rural part of Australia, small small town. Really looking forward to the night life, food, lights, technology and sake. Hopefully there will be an abundance to look at in Akihabara and Shinjuku. We both want to see/background the old parts(temples, museums) of Japan and the really modern parts(neon lights, cosplay, gizmos) . Is there anything you found fun or exciting in Tokyo that you would recommend? Thanks!
