A question about driving long distances in Europe as opposed to driving in USA that I can’t manage to fit in the title

Posted on May 28, 2016 | in Travellers Questions | by

I hope its a good subreddit for that question, but I couldnt think of many other that would be suited for it.

People always say that driving long distances is seen as no big deal by Americans/Canadians/Australians because these countries are much bigger than any european country. Today, Ive see the interesting argument that its also and mainly because roads in USA/Canada/Australia are more straight and empty and with less interruptions than european roads, so youll get more tired after a 3 hour drive in Europe than after a 3 hour drive in the USA.

So people who did long distance drives in both, whats your opinion that ?
