At the end of Feb, I am planning to travel to Sydney, Australia for a couple of weeks from Boston, MA. I was wondering if there were any airlines that make a stop in Tokyo or Kyoto? And if so, how do I get a nice long layover to let me explore a bit?

I have heard that some Airlines do "Stopover" flights to promote tourism in their home countries, but I cant seem to find the flights I am looking for. Where do I need to go to set something like this up?
