Hi, I was thinking of flying on China Eastern from Sea-Tac Airport to Okinawa and found a flight on Skyscanner for around 1300, for 2 people. The problem is its literally a 37 hour travel time: from Sea-Tac to LA, LA to Shanghai, a 14 hr layover in Shanghai, and then from Shanghai to Okinawa. Ive heard mixed reviews from there and I was wondering if these cheap prices are worth the 37 hr travel time.

So my questiosn are:

Is the cheap prices worth it for the 37hr travel time?

Should I just pay a few hundred more for a better flight?

Does anyone have background with layovers in Shanghai? Is there anything to do? (the particular flight Im looking at gets there at 5:30 PM so Im not sure if well have anything to do…)

How is your background with China Eastern on long flights?
